About Empowerment Technologies:

Empowerment Technologies is a well growing web and software development company and providing technical training on various technology.

The extent of ICT integrated in the teaching learning process in the Senior High School program has a positive impact on the students to us, as a Grade 11 students. Students were able to make blogs/websites that contain ICT Development. It was used to communicate ideas and possible designs for the blog,and also they were able to see pictures and videos from their home rather than the live classroom that is related to the lesson for this subject.

This is what I Learned in this subject:

1. EMPOWERMENT TECHNOLOGY LESSON 1: Introduction to Information and Communication Technology. I improve my knowledge on how ICT affects our everyday lives and the state of our nation. I learned to compare and contrast and contrast the differences between online platforms, sites, and content. I do understand the features of Web 2.0 , the future of the world Wide Web through Web 3.0, and different trends in ICT and the use them to our advantage.
2. EMPOWERMENT TECHNOLOGY LESSON 2: Rule of Netiquette. I learned to consider one’s and others’ safety when sharing information using the Internet, consider one’s and other reputation when using the Internet . I also learned to determine and avoid the dangers of the Internet, and to be responsible in the use of social networking sites by browsing the Internet efficiently and properly through proper referencing.
3. EMPOWERMENT TECHNOLOGY LESSON 3: Advanced Word Processing Skills. I learned to use some advanced capabilities of Microsoft Word commonly used to increase productivity and efficiency, effectively use these features to help improve the productivity of an organization through maximizing the potential of Microsoft Word, create form letters or documents for distributions to various recipients, to create labels and envelopes for distributions, and to create media-rich documents for printing or publishing.
4. EMPOWERMENT TECHNOLOGY LESSON 4: Advanced Spreadsheet Skills. I learned to familiarize the most commonly used function in Microsoft Excel, use several conditional functions available in Microsoft Excel, and use Microsoft Excel as a viable tool in market research and product development.
5. EMPOWERMENT TECHNOLOGY LESSON 5: Advanced Presentation Skills I learned to use hyperlinks to improve their slideshow/s, embed files and data to their slideshow/s, and to maximize slideshow/s as an effective visual aid tool.
6. EMPOWERMENT TECHNOLOGY LESSON 6: Imaging and Design for Online Environment. I learned to understand the basic principles of graphics and layout create a simple info-graphic using web tools, understand and use several file format used on the web, and to easily manipulate images using a simple image editor.
7. EMPOWERMENT TECHNOLOGY LESSON 7: Online Platforms for ICT Content Development. I learned to differentiate the Platforms available for developing web content, understand the purpose of these platforms and know the basics of using them and enhance one’s knowledge in the world of cloud computing
8. EMPOWERMENT TECHNOLOGY LESSON 8: Basic Web Page Creation OBJECTIVES: I learned to create a web page using Microsoft Word, create your own website using a free host, design a website using an online WYSIWYG platforms, and edit and insert elements for their website.
